About the product
- Prevents barrels in poor condition or that have lost their cylindrical shape from contracting due to the equipment's high vacuum. Even a healthy barrel can contract if something gets stuck in the hose or if the liquid is very thick. In order for the barrel to go together, it has to bulge out somewhere. By placing the girdle in the middle of the barrel, it prevents the barrel from bulging when a vacuum occurs, so it cannot contract.
